Crystal Forms

Jamal Ifill is one of but a few individuals endowed with the special gift of artistic creativity and the ability to give tangible expression to ideas through craft creations that are attractive, exceptional and functional.

Working with the delicate medium of glass, he specializes in a technique known as 'glass blowing' that dates back thousands of years before the Roman Empire.

Jamal has a creative colourful side to his business, hand-created pieces, earrings, rings, pendants and other exquisite pieces of contemporary jewellery. He produces one-off designs; therefore no two pieces are alike.

Crystal Forms Hair Beads can be made into different shapes - fish, bears, dolphins, teardrops, petals and are made from transparent, opaque and coloured glass rods using a flame torch.

Jamal originally wanted to be an architect, but has turned into a young artist who is already a master craftsman in his field. He utilizes his creative skills to produce individual attractive products for his clients. You explain what you want, and he reproduces it to your specifications. I recommend a trip to his factory if you happen to be in Barbados.

Jamal is based in Barbados but his hair beads and jewellery can be purchased via the Hair Affairs web site.

Alternatively Jamal can be contacted on 001 246 426 5358 or email crystalforms_Barbados@yahoo.com.

The Crystal Forms Interlocking Jeweltool

Use the all glass “jeweltool “to interlock your sisterlocks and micro locks. Wear it in your hair as a stylish hair jewel. Handcrafted by Jamal Ifill of Crystal Forms in Barbados, the “jeweltool” which is hand blown, is made from the delicate medium of glass. Each tool is unique and comes in a variety of colours and patterns.

The all glass “jeweltool” will not snag your locks like other interlocking tools. It’s all round smoothness is perfect for interlocking your micro locks. It can be worn as a jewel in your hair so that your interlocking tool is readily available for those touch ups, whenever and where ever.

Treat your “jeweltool” with care. Dropping the “jeweltool” will result in it breaking.
